Abstract
This research study was conducted on stories that had moral messages and were taught at various levels in the 1998-1999 academic year in Erzurum. While all the stories taught at pre-school were found to be suitable to the pupils’ moral development level, 50% of the stories taught at primary schools were found to be suitable and the other 50% were found to be below the pupils' moral development level.
