Abstract
Most of the research cited in the literature concerning Turkish education is based on quantitative research methods and techniques. However, in western educational research, both quantitative and qualitative research methods and techniques have been used together in order to answer the same research question. In order to contribute to the use o f similar approaches in research into Turkish education more frequently, this paper examines how to use similar research methods and techniques together, based on western research literature. In this perspective, methods, data, investigator and theory triangulation are explained.
