The purpose of this study was to investigate faculty members’ job satisfaction according to
some socio

demographic variables and their views of the university for which they work.
Participants were 392 faculty members working at various colleges of Hacettepe (193
participants
‐ 49.2%) and Çukurova (199 participants‐
