Abstract
The main aim of this study is to determine the views of principals and teachers about team working. The following were determined: the degree to which principals encouraged team working amongst teachers, the degree to which teachers were enthusiastic about team working, and the levels to which they believed in team working. A relation was found between team working and participation in decision making. Teachers do not agree while principals agree with the view of team leaders are honest and open on knowledge sharing.
