Abstract
The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of (he two different types of text organization on pupils’ focusing on the two subtopics of the text in their recall protocols. Aspect and Block organizations of the same text were read by 83 primary school 5th grade pupils. The data obtained from the recall protocols of the pupils show that there is no significant difference between the recall protocols of the groups assigned to Aspect and Block Organizations in terms of their focusing on the two subtopics of the text.
