Abstract
Students’ perceptions about learning physics and various motivational factors affecting their studies in physics have important roles in the development of a national curriculum. The participants in the present study were selected from the 3rd and 4th year students in physics departments at the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Science and Art. Three different questionnaires were administered to the students to investigate their perceptions about learning physics, various motivational factors affecting their studies in physics, and their attitudes towards teachingphysics. The data were analysed using different statistical tests.
