Abstract
The concept of globalization became known through economics. Nowadays this concept has acquired a cultural meaning, and in this meaning “education ” is comprised. That is, the idea of globalization in education implies the holding in common of certain educational characteristics of the countries which are in the process of globalization. In this context, subjects such as exchange students, exchange instructors and accreditation are currently being discussed. It is time the subject of brain-drain be addressed in a positive way and at an international level. In this paper the educational aspects of this subject are dealt with in general, and in the context of Turkey in particular.
