Öz

Okul direnci, öğrencilerin öğrenme süreçlerine, okul bağlamına ve otorite figürlerine karşı geliştirdikleri olumsuz tutum ve davranışlarla ortaya çıkan yaygın bir sorundur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinde mükemmeliyetçilik türlerinin okul direnci üzerindeki etkisini incelemek ve bu ilişkide hedef bağlılığının aracı rolünü test etmektir. Araştırma verileri ortaokul öğrencilerinden toplanmış; analizlerde PROCESS makrosu (Model-4) kullanılmış ve regresyon modellerindeki doğrudan ve dolaylı etkiler bootstrap yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular, kendine özgü mükemmeliyetçiliğin okul direnci üzerindeki toplam etkinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve negatif yönlü olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu etkinin hem doğrudan hem de hedef bağlılığı aracılığıyla dolaylı yollarla ortaya çıktığı belirlenmiştir. Hedef bağlılığının dolaylı etkisinin anlamlı bulunması, kendine özgü mükemmeliyetçiliğin hedef bağlılığını güçlendirerek okul direncini azaltıcı yönde işleyebileceğine işaret etmektedir. Sosyal kaynaklı mükemmeliyetçiliğin okul direnci üzerindeki toplam etkisi de anlamlı ve negatif bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, sosyal kaynaklı mükemmeliyetçiliğin hedef bağlılığı aracılığıyla okul direnci üzerindeki dolaylı etkisinin pozitif ve anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Genel olarak, hedef bağlılığı her iki mükemmeliyetçilik türü ile okul direnci arasındaki ilişkide anlamlı bir aracı değişken olarak işlev görmüştür. Bu bulgular, öğrencilerin içsel olarak anlamlı ve değerli buldukları hedeflere yönelmelerinin, akademik yaşamda karşılaşılan güçlüklerle başa çıkmalarını ve okulda kalma motivasyonlarını destekleyebileceğini göstermektedir.
