Öz

Ergenlerin Fiziksel Aktivite (FA) düzeyleri çeşitli faydalarla ilişkilendirilse de FA katılım oranları düşük kalmaya devam etmektedir. Önceki çalışmalar, ergenlerin FA ve Beden Eğitimi ve Spor (BES) katılımı üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olabilecek psikolojik faktörlerden birisinin de çeşitlilik desteği algısı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, BES’de çeşitlilik desteği ile ders katılımı arasındaki ilişkide zevk ve motivasyonun seri aracılık rolünü incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda önce Eather ve diğerleri (2022) tarafından geliştirilen “The Perceived Variety-Support in Physical Education Scale (PVSPES)” Türkçeye uyarlanıp, ortaokul (n=561) ve lise (n=457) örneklemine adaptasyonu sağlanmıştır. DFA sonuçları, PVSPES’nin Türkçe versiyonunun cinsiyete ve öğrenim kademesine göre ölçme değişmezliğinin sağlandığını göstermiştir. Çeşitlilik desteği ve katılım arasındaki ilişkide zevk ve motivasyonun seri aracılık rolünü incelediğimiz çalışmamız, 1018 (532 kız, 486 erkek) ortaokul (n=561) ve lise (n=457) öğrencisinden oluşan bir örneklem ile yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma bulgularında, BES’de öğrencilerin çeşitlilik desteği algılarının ders katılımına doğrudan pozitif yönde anlamlı etkisinin olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin çeşitlilik desteği algısı ile katılım arasındaki ilişkide zevkin (b= .086, BootSE= .014, 95% CI [.059, .115]) ve motivasyonun (b= .061, BootSE= .012, 95% CI [.039, .087]) aracılık etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Seri aracılık modeline göre, öğrencilerin çeşitlilik desteği algısının katılıma olan etkisinde zevkin ve motivasyonun seri aracılık etkisinin anlamlı olduğu bulunmuştur (b= .087, BootSE= .011, 95% CI [.067, .109]). Sonuç olarak BES’de öğrencilerin çeşitlilik desteği algısı, derslere yönelik zevk ve motivasyonu artırdığı, bunun sonucunda her iki faktöründe seri aracılık etkisiyle ders katılımını pozitif yönde etkilediği bulunmuştur. BES’de öğrencilere çeşitli etkinliklerin sunulması onların derse yönelik zevk ve motivasyon artırarak ders katılımlarına olumlu yönde katkı sağlayacaktır.
