Öz
Bu araştırmanın amacı, küresel eğitim araştırmalarında Türkiye’nin mevcut rolünü ve katkısını bibliyometrik olarak incelemektir. Bu amaçla Web of Science Core Collection (WoS)’da yer alan dört eğitim kategorisinde 1992-2021 arasını kapsayan toplam 8630 yayın analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada yayın sayıları, yayın etkileri, yayın atıf geçmişleri, en etkili yayınlar, yayıncılar, kurumlar ve ayrıca ülkelerarası işbirliği yapısını incelemek için çeşitli ölçütler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre yayınların neredeyse tamamına yakını 2006 yılından sonra yayımlanmış ve 2012 yılına kadar yayın sayılarında önemli yükseliş olmuştur. Ancak bu artışa rağmen yayınların etkisi azalmıştır. 2013 yılından itibaren üretkenlik ve yayın etkisi daha fazla düşüş göstermiştir. “Eğitim ve Bilim-Education and Science” dergisi en fazla yayına sahiptir. Uluslararası işbirliğinin çoğunluğu ABD ile yapılmış ancak en etkili yayınlar Kanada işbirliği ile gerçekleşmiştir. Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi yayın etkisi en yüksek kurumken Hacettepe Üniversitesi ise en üretken kurumdur. Türkiye eğitim araştırmalarında genel eğitim konuları, öğrenme ve öğretme, psikoloji, fen eğitimi, öğretmen eğitimi ve ölçek geliştirme olmak üzere altı ana alana yoğunlaşmıştır.
