Abstract

The paper examines the determinants of student achievement on the secondary school entrance exam (SSEE). The data for this project were collected through a survey of 810 primaryschool graduates. The empirical work is carried out by forming a model on student achievement and three categories of school, student, and family characteristics from primary-school graduates who were successful in SSEE.
