Abstract
In this article, the basic philosophy, concepts, principles, goals and assumptions of the solution-focused brief counseling approach are first described in detail. The solution-focused brief counseling process and some of its congruent techniques are then explained and the practicability of this approach in Turkish schools is discussed.
