Abstract
Measuring The Achievement in and Attitudes Towards Science CourseIn this study, 4th level primary school students’ achievement in a “Light-Matter unit” and their attitude towards science courses developed for Curriculum Laboratory Schools were investigated. For these purposes, a Light-Matter Achievement test was administered to 54 students at the end and a Science Attitude Scale was administered using Cronbach alpha formula (a= 0.72 and a- 0.81 respectively). In general, a high correlation between the Achievement Test and the Attitude Scale was demonstrated.
