Abstract
Parent education is a type of education that helps parents adopt new conditions and develop the behaviour demanded of them. The rapid changes observed in societies affect parental knowledge and skills, and thus the problems parents encounter in the socialization process of their children increase as they undertake important tasks to determine the future personality of their children. Therefore, parent education, which is supposed to help them establish effective communication with their children and to change the behaviour and habits of their children in a positive manner, is much more important today.
