Abstract
In this study, adaptation of Conners Teacher Rating Scale-Revised Short-CTRS-RS to Turkish was explained by means of employing teachers of 3-17 aged students. Determining the psychometric properties of the scale was made possible by analyzing the data collected from 881 teachers. CTRS-RS’ validity was evaluated through confirmatory factor analysis, subscales’ inter-correlations, correlations betweeen short forms of adolescent-parent-teacher rating scales, and item-analysis. CTRS-RS’ internal reliability was tested through the Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman-Brown split-half coefficient. Test-retest correlations were also tested. Results of CFA showed that the original structure of the CTRS-RS was identical in the application with the Turkish teachers. Reliability coefficients were also at an acceptable level.
