Öz

Okul akademik iyimserliği, çeşitli okul çıktılarında önemli rol oynayan içsel bir faktördür. Son yıllarda, bu kavramın öncüllerine artan bir ilgi gösterilmektedir. Önceki araştırmalar, liderliğin okul akademik iyimserliği üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ancak, dağıtımcı liderliğin ve anlamlı işin okul akademik iyimserliği üzerindeki bütünsel etkisi yeterince araştırılmamıştır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada, dağıtımcı liderlik, anlamlı iş ve okul akademik iyimserliği arasındaki doğrudan ve dolaylı ilişkileri keşfetmek amacıyla geliştirilen model hem öğretmen hem de okul düzeyinde test edilmiştir. Çalışmanın verileri, Türkiye’nin 12 bölgesinde yer alan 78 devlet ilkokulunda görev yapan 813 öğretmenden toplanmıştır. Geliştirilen modelin test edilmesinde çok düzeyli yapısal eşitlik modellemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, anlamlı işin, dağıtımcı liderlik ve okul akademik iyimserliği arasındaki ilişkide önemli bir aracı faktör olduğunu göstermektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, okul akademik iyimserliğinin öncüllerine odaklanan literatüre katkıda bulunmaktadır. Çalışma sonuçları doğrultusunda, okulları güçlendirecek ve okul liderlerine etkili sonuçlar üretmeleri için daha fazla yetki verecek politikaların geliştirilmesi ve uygulanması önerilmektedir.
