Abstract
Bazı toplumlarda bir yaş derecesinden diğerine geçiş, özellikle erinlik döneminde ayrıntılı törenlerle kutlanır. Gerçekten erinlik döneminde erkeklerin erginleme törenleri, bazı toplumlarda evlenme törenlerinden daha fazla öneme sahiptir.
